The iconic SICYC “Vice Commodores” Rendezvous is held annually on the last full weekend of August.
This is an event not to be missed – 4 days of fun, great camaraderie and good times with like minded people.
It is located at the home of SICYC – Shag Islet, near beautiful Gloucester Passage in the Whitsundays. View the location on the SICYC Map.
So there you have it in a nutshell… we’re back with a leaner than usual Rendezvous and the best news… minimal expenses means we don’t need to charge you a cent to join in!
After not being able to host an event last year, the Season of Sail will culminate on the usual weekend, in the usual place and we can all relax and have our usual great time together celebrating life at “Shaggers”!

This is an event you don’t want to miss. See the Creek to Coast coverage below from previous Rendezvous.
Shag Islet is situated in the Gloucester Passage in the Whitsunday Region in North Queensland, Australia (20 03.8 S ... 148 26.5 E). It is a small, rocky islet with a beach which is exposed on the southern end on a falling tide.
There is nothing on the islet except at the annual SICYC Rendezvous when hundreds of "Vice Commodores" gather on the last week end in August each year. MAP
